Build a Bear Workshop Event

Foresters members (policy holders) in the Bristol area took park in a very special Build-A-Bear Workshop event on 28th October 2009.

Every member attending this event created two very special teddy bears which were donated to the young patients at Bristol Children's Hospital, part of UH Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

In total 50 bears were given to children who found themselves in hospital over half term, and they had their day brightened as their new furry friends were handed over to them at the Hospital play centre.

Anna Shepherd at the Grand Appeal said "A big thank you to Foresters for the donation of these bears - the children’s faces really lit up when the teddies arrived - its been a real treat!"

This Build-A-Bear event is just one of the many exclusive events and activities organised for Foresters members as part of Foresters work in the Community.
