Welcome fellow Foresters.
Welcome to our website. We are two
thirds of the way through the year now, and have had a very
successful time with our fund raising and social events. Our
charity for 2008 and 2009 is “Help for Heroes” this provides help
and support to our service men and women who have been wounded in
Afghanistan and Iraq, they need funds to improve facilities at
Hadleigh Court the rehabilitation centre. Even if we don’t agree
with the war, our service people are over there doing the job they
have been sent to do. We would love to see you at our fund
raising events and even more if you could help. If you would
like to make a donation to this charity, please ring me on 01722
710769 and I will give you details.
Below you will find reports of past events and
details of future ones to come in 2008.
We have a wide variety of events, but if you
have a special hobby or interest let us know and we will do our
best to put on an activity to suit you. We love to see our
existing members at Sarum’s events, and new members will receive an
especially warm welcome.
We are very pleased to say that the Prince OF
Wale’s Divisional Band will play for us at the City Hall, Fisherton
Street in Salisbury on the 14 March 2009. The funds from this
event will go to “Help for Heroes”.
