Events Listing
Welcome fellow Foresters.
We had a very successful year in 2007, both
with our charity and social events. On the 15 March 2008, we
had great pleasure in presenting a cheque for £6,000 to our
charity, “Wilton Group Riding for the Disabled”.
Our charity for 2008 and 2009 is “HELP FOR
HEROES” this provides help and support to our service men and women
who have been wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq, they need funds to
improve facilities at Hadleigh Court the rehabilitation
centre. We would love to see you at our fund raising events
and even more if you could help.
Below you will find reports of past and
details of future functions to come in 2008.
We have a wide variety of events, but if you
have a special hobby or interest let us know and we may be able to
put on an activity to suit you.
We love to see our existing members at Sarum’s
events, and new members will receive an especially warm
welcome.
If you do not have time to spare perhaps you
could send us a donation for them. Email me on b.j.lawrence@btinternet.com
and I will give you details.
Just a date for your diary:
The Brigade of the Gurkha’s Band will be giving a concert for us at
the City Hall, Fisherton Street in Salisbury on the 27 September
2008. More details are on web pages so keep the date
free. The funds from this event will go to The Gurkha Welfare
Trust.
