Events Listing

Welcome to Members of Pennine Way Branch.

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Andrea Scrutton and I am the President of Pennine Way Branch.  I was very proud to be elected to this position in January 2009 and I hope that I can continue the hard work of my predecessors.

As a Branch we strive to provide events that will appeal to all of our members.  We have many members who regularly attend social events and we thank you for your continued support.

If you look at the list of events on this page and the news page and don’t see any events that would appeal to you please do not hesitate to get in touch with me with ideas of what you would like to do.

This year the Branch will be supporting The Safe Anchor Trust as our charity at social events and putting on community anchorevents for Forget-me-Not Trust.  As a Branch we have benefitted from Safe Anchor for over 4 years now with our extremely popular annual canal trip, so we are delighted to be able to give them some extra support to help fit out a new boat that they have recently bought.

We hold Branch committee meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (2nd Wednesday in December) at the Methodist Mission in Huddersfield Town Centre starting at 7.45pm.  All members are very welcome to attend these meetings.  We are always looking for extra help, especially from someone with secretarial skills.  If you feel you might be able to help the committee to organise events and help run the Branch please contact me.

Please click on all the tabs above to see what we have been doing and get full details of our events.  Make sure you are registered, via the ‘Get Connected’ button, to receive email updates.
