Welcome to Members of Pennine Way Branch.
We have had a very busy year with our
Valentine’s Dinner Dance, Rhubarb Triangle visit, Sunday Lunches,
Whitby Crown Green Bowls, Harry Potter Cinema event, York Races and
Shopping, Canal Trip, Sound of Music theatre trip. We have
been busy! I would like to thank all the members who
supported us on these events and I hope you enjoyed them.
We would like to introduce our 2010 Diary of
events, we have a committee that works very hard to produce this
list of events and to organise them for you. If you have any
questions or would like to join the committee, please do not
hesitate to contact me on 01484 326118 or
pennine_way@msn.com.
I would like to make it clear how the booking
of events works, to help us manage the ticket bookings in an
efficient way. Please wait for full details of an event
(date, time, price) to be published before trying to book
tickets. We are giving you brief details of all the events we
have planned for 2010 in this newsletter but only giving full
details of the events at the beginning of the year.
To book tickets, please call or email the
person listed using the details given. If emailing, please
make it clear in your email how many tickets for each event you
wish to book and they will contact you further to confirm whether
the tickets are available and to arrange payment. If you are
calling, please be prepared to put your request in writing, again
making it clear what tickets you are requesting and provide payment
at that time. This enables us to keep clear records for each
event.
The committee have chosen to continue for
another year to support Safe Anchor Trust. We raised £700 for
them this year, and thank you to everyone who helped us achieve
that.
I am very much looking forward to my 2nd year
as President of the Branch and hope to see you all at our events
across the year.
