Welcome to Members in London & Southern England
I should like to greet all new Members, you are most welcome. To
explain a little about Forestry in the UK, the United Kingdom is
divided into 4 areas. Ours (London & Southern England), Western
England & Wales, Central & Northern England and Scotland.
Each year there are friendly competitions nationally for foil
collection, stamp collection and the best branch. I am so delighted
to advise that our region was awarded all three in September 2009 –
Well Done London & Southern England.
As well as being responsible for the Branches
in it’s area, each Regional Council raises monies for various
charities, we arrange various events, trips and functions
for our Members and also holidays, both in the UK and to Foreign
parts. (please refer to the events listing).

For those Members and their families who are
aged between 18-30 Foresters run a wide range of activities through
the ACTIV8 section ( see the news section of the web site).
As this year is the 135th
Anniversary of the formation of Foresters we are trying to raise
£135,000 for the RNLI’s Train One Save Many Campaign, we are still
trying to raise monies so there are plenty of openings for you to
