regarding the start of a Ladies Circle in Poole.
2009 Events
Look out next month for the details of next year's events. There
is at least two 'somethings' every month including four day
outings, three Skittles evenings , Sunday lunches and two
Dances!
Branch Meetings
Branch meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of the
month. (No meetings in August). We meet in the Churchill Room in
the Colliton Club, County Hall, Dorchester DT1 1XJ at 7pm and all
members are welcome.

Coffee Evenings
The Coffee Evenings in the
West Dorset area are held in members’ homes on the second Wednesday
of each month. They are open to all members.
The committee is:

Secretary – Gwen Downer
Treasurer – Pam Hatcher
The meeting agreed that subs for an evening to
remain at £1 per person attending but will now include the December
(AGM-Christmas) meeting/party, which up to now has been free.

Charity 2009
At the July Branch meeting it was
agreed to continue to support the Dorset and Somerset Air
Ambulance to the end of 2009.

New Financial Advisor
The July Branch meeting was attended for the
first time by the new Financial Advisor for the DT postal
districts, James Pidgeon. James has recently moved back to the
area, having lived previously in Weymouth. If you wish to contact
James for financial advice or on policy matters please do so by
