Cheque Presentation to Andrea's Gift - December 2009

Andreas Gift presentation The Branch presented Andrea's Gift with a cheque for £10,500. This represents the total raised in the last 4 years by the Branch for the brain tumour research charity Andrea’s Gift. (Charity no. 1095931)

The picture shows Charity fund organizer Carol Robertson receiving the cheque from former Branch President Keith Harrison and Charity Chairperson Margaret Taylor.

In 2009 Friendship Branch raised £2500.00 for the charity.

An additional £1000.00 was also donated in 2009 to Andrea’s Gift by the family of long standing member and ex branch officer John Ruddle (a founder member of Friendship Branch) who passed away in 2009.

Regional Council Quiz Finals - 2009/10 Competition

The Friendship A team and the Junior team have qualified for the Inter Region Quiz Finals. The B team narrowly missed out by one point from qualifying. We wish them all success.
