Foresters are working closely with Children's Miracle
Network are supporting Cash for Kids with their Radiothon in
Leeds.
After years of campaigning, children’s
services in Leeds – which are second in size only to Great Ormand
Street - are being moved to one site, when Leeds Children’s
Hospital will be born. This huge move is happening right now,
and soon the new children’s wards, waiting rooms and theatres will
be ready.
On 25, 26, 27 March, 96.3 Radio Aire will be
moving out of the studio and into the hospital broadcasting their
shows and raising money for the Cash for Kids Appeal for Leeds
Children’s Hospital.
We would love Foresters and friends to come
along and help at the event. Just a few hours would help and
you will be provided with a T-shirt, refreshments …..and everyone
attending will be entered into a free-prize draw for a bottle of
champagne!
