Regent Bowl Sunday Doubles Charity Ten Pin Bowling
Tournament
This charity
bowling event took place on Sunday 22 June at Regent Bowl, Great
Yarmouth attended by around 75 people, was thoroughly enjoyed by
all and raised £600 for Waveney Sailability. A number of
branch officers made the following comments about the event:
“The evening was the third time this event has
been held and each time it just gets better and better. We
got to talk to those people who we don’t usually talk to, did
something we all enjoy, raised loads of money, but most importantly
WE HAD LOADS OF FUN AND I MEAN LOADS. I went home buzzing!”
Alison Kinder (Past President)
“I am unable to bowl any more but can see the
huge success of this event now, I love helping out where I can and
also feeling the vibrancy around me it’s just one big buzz”.
Gary Kinder (Vice President)
“On behalf of the Branch I would like to thank
everyone involved in organizing a memorable evening Ken Bestford,
for the tournament arrangements, Mark Brock for the raffle and
other charity fundraisers and of course Regent Bowl for the
assistance especially David on control for the evening. WE COULD
NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT THEM.” Richard Finch (President)
“I had good fun playing but more so meeting
up and having time to chat with some old and new faces. The evening
went so quickly I was worn out at the end with all the excitement.”
Hilary Finch (Social and Treasurer)
