Branch Meetings
Meetings held on fourth Wednesday of month at The Dartmoor Lodge
Hotel, Ashburton on August 27th, September
24th, October 22nd and November
26th. All starting at 8.00pm. At our
January 28th meeting there will be an election of
Officers to serve 2009/10.
All members are welcome to
attend.
Charity 2008
So far this year over £3,000 has been raised for our
main charity Diabetes UK. Additionally the Branch has made
donations to other worthy charities; £200 was presented to ‘All
Stars’ to assist in the purchase of a camcorder and £500 to St
Luke’s Hospice, towards the purchase of a new minibus for their Day
Hospice patients.
Used Stamps
Please continue to save all your used postage stamps,
if trimmed please leave a quarter inch of paper. Please send your
stamps to Dave Cockings who will sort and trim as necessary. They
are then forwarded to ‘Save the Children’ where they are sold to
help raise funds for their valuable work around the world.
Jubilee Club
Participants in the Jubilee Club are
reminded that the fees for next year are due before January.
