Children's Fun Day

Bronte has supported the Junior Section of
Idle Cricket Club for many years, so they ‘bowled over’ at the
chance of sponsoring their Children’s Fun Day.
On September 9, over 500 people attended Idle
Cricket Club to participate in the day and to help raise almost
£1,000 for the Junior Teams.
It was a superb day and one of the highlights
of the day was the Ducking Stool – a chance to settle old
‘SCORES!’
Ian Schofield, Branch President, said: ‘A
wonderful day out for all the family. We would like to thank
everybody for all their help to make this such a successful
event.’
Raising Money for Martin House
Bronte hosted a
stall at the Saltaire Street Market in September to help raise much
needed funds for Martin House Children’s Hospice who provide care
and support to children and young people with life limiting
illnesses, and to their families.
Over 10,000 people attended the 2-day
Gathering that was as good as ever with plenty of entertainment and
numerous activities…..including our Tombola Stall that completely
sold out raising £250 for Martin House.
Branch President Ian Schofield says “ Bronte
is committed to help charities and it was a fun way to raise funds
for a charity close to our hearts”
