Forester Life completes CWFS transfer

Communication Workers Friendly Society (CWFS) merge into Forester Life

Forester Life welcomes former CWFS members as plan holders and members of Foresters.

In January it was announced that CWFS intended to merge into Forester Life, subject to the approval of its members and the Financial Services Authority (FSA), by way of a transfer of engagements.

CWFS members voted overwhelmingly in favour of the transfer with 98.2% voting in favour of the transfer at a Special General Meeting held in May and last week the FSA sanctioned the transfer. As a result the plans previously held with CWFS became part of, and are now administered by, Forester Life.
